Free Music Notes for 11iFree Music Review: Malt Whisky Hit: 5 StarsLike a good classy malt SCOTCH whisky. You have to sip it, endure the initial taste which disturbs the palate and wait for the warmth and subtle tones to fill your sences. Only after you have sipped and sipped and discovered the wonderful variation and quality of the genuine product can you truely apprieciate the depth of this album.
My suggestion, lie back with your headphones on and just listen. Tomorrow do the same and by day three you will have this on repeat, filling your room with sounds you have to listen to hear over and over.
If you have, and enjoyed previous SBL albums this is different, in the same way the other two are. If you don't have them, why not? Go buy them now and have three of the most unique and satisfying albums you can own.
Supreme Beings of Leisure
Divine Operating System
And this Album, 11i
Free Music Review: Too good to be true Hit: 5 StarsBefore yesterday I never heard of these guys in my life. But I do have a habit of experimenting with different kinds of music and I picked up this CD because the name sounds cool. This is an excellent CD, freaking awesome. Great Stuff..
Free Music Review: Good Album Hit: 4 StarsI own all three SBOL albums, and while I still think their first is the best, this is a great sound for them. I just got the album and am still listening for stand-out songs, but my initial impressions are very positive. I had mixed feelings about Divine Operating System, but 11i is much more consistent and I recommend it to SBOL fans.
Free Music Review: 11i ... Best Yet Hit: 4 StarsThis is a very interesting collection of noize.
The work is excellent - another level.
I was wondering who would be able to fill the void that Massive Attack left behind.
Should Supreme Beings of Leisure continue evolving on this path, their next album should be revolutionary.
I like "Mirror", "Swallow" and "Angelhead".
Well done.
Free Music Review: Possibly SBOL's best? Hit: 5 StarsI rarely take the time to share my feelings here, but...Wow!...am only halfway done listening to their new album, and have been blown away...their first 2 CDs are incredible, but this one is so solid, so layered...Geri's voice is in crisp, amazing form!
This band has grown so much, and their remix work is amazing too!
"Mirror" and "Swallow" have now changed my life: as well as all the other songs on this album!!!
