Susan Anton's love for music goes back to the age of five, she would want something from her parents ~ they would ask her to sing for them. Enjoyed many groups in the '60s (the Beatles, Herman's Hermits) ~ but it was Bob Dylan's music that saved her troubled teenaged soul, manytimes she got connected in what it could provide in terms of guidance and expression to set her life's standards. These days Anton's favorite composers/artists include ~ Marc Cohn and Beth Nielsen Chapman ~ music that tells a story we can relate to ~ blends great artistry and sophistication in each melody.
To pick standouts is not easy, but here goes ~ "THE COLOR OF ROSES" (Beth Nielsen Chapman/Matthew Charles Rollings) ~ "FOR MY WEDDING" (McNally) ~ "FOREVER YOUNG" (Bob Dylan) ~ touches the very depths of your soul and tugs at your heartstrings.
