Free Music Notes for Learning to Breathe

Free Music Review: A definate buy
Hit: 5 Stars

If you don't already have this album go pick it up. Learning to Breath is definately Switchfoot's best CD. It has a good mix of ballads and rock songs. The first song "Dare You To Move" is very intruiging and enticing. I found myself singing it to myself again and again. The next song, "Learning to Breath", is much the same. The first single "You Already Take Me There" shows off there instrumental talents and is a great change from the previous two songs. The most interesting song would have to be "Innocence Again" which mixes the sounds of alternative rock with old western.

Although the group is Christian it is hardly visible. The lyrics are spiritual yet can be listened to by anyone without them noticing the God references.

Free Music Review: This CD is AWESOME!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I got this CD on impulse. I had only heard one song off it. I usually listen to at least half of a Cd before I buy it. I am SOOO glad I didn't wait to get this one! I Dare You to Move is my fav song on the record. The first time I heard it I didn't like it that much, but it has grown on me. The chorus at the very end of the song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. As for the other songs on the album, they all ROCK!! Poparazzi, Loser, Living is Simple, and Erosion get top spots, though. This CD hasn't been out of my CD player since I got it a month ago, except to play the enhanced CD parts (two great music videos) on my computer. If you like pop/rock music, regardless of whether or not you've heard Swithchfoot before, GET THIS CD!! Switchfoot is so AWESOME!!!

Free Music Review: Switchfoot re-invents Soft Rock
Hit: 5 Stars

Switchfot brings together a musical style not seen by any artists in their time. Their 2 previous albums show the development of the boys and how their styles continues to elvoe. But now they have reached their peak. Guitar riffs are astonding, Bass playing is well done, and the drumming is solid. Mixed together with others such sound as qiours, organs, and aditional guitars - these boys have reached the peak of their musical potential. The only thing I reget in saying this is, by the time their next album rolls around, they will probly change my mind about their potential and blow me out of the water.......again.

Free Music Review: More than I ever imagined!

I received this CD and wasn't sure what I would think. I thought I had heard Learning to Breathe but wasn't sure. It's hard to place who these guys sound like but first impression was Incabus. My favorite songs off this CD are I dare you to move, Learning to Breathe, and Playing for Keeps. If you like Christian rock/alternative this is a must have. It also has some slower songs for us mellower older folk. Great stuff I look forward to there next CD. They have graduated into my buy before listening group. This was my surprise of the year CD. Great job guys!!

Free Music Review: Learning to Breathe

I absolutely love switchfoot, and this is another great album of theirs. I'd say this is the most religious album that they have, which is still good but just different compared to their lyrics today. I love the depth of reflection that the lyrics have. Jon is an amazing writer, lyrically and musically. This is right before they came out in the mainstream, so it still has their very youthful sound. My personal favorites are learning to breathe and you already take me there, just to name some, but the whole album is great, and I love switchfoot!
