Free Music Review: Not what you'd expect
Hit: 4 Stars
This is one of those hard to categorize CDs. On some cuts, it's got a soul or R&B feel while on others, it has a light jazz sound. Given the presence of the Tolers and Floyd Miles, you might expect an Allman Brothers blues/Southern rock style but it's nowhere to be found here.
That said, the music on the CD is pretty good and there are a few instrumentals that are well done. Call it 3.5 Stars.
