Free Music Review: Exciting first album but the funkiest girl group on the planet
Hit: 4 Stars

This album introduces us to the varous characters that is TLC, absolutely love it, the album promotes, safe sex, talks about woman abuse, jealousy in relationships, but on the other hand it is fun, fun, fun. TLC made up of Tboz, the husky voiced, laid back serious don't mess with me beauty, Left eye the in your face hip hop rap star who speaks her mind sexy yet gansta, with a unique voice that is only hers, Chilli the sweet, dark chocolate beauty with the soulful voice and the sexy moves. These ladies are so different, yet click perfectly, it just cannot work without them all being part of the package. Even the incredible Destinys Child can't compare to this cohesion, no one really cared much that the group dropped and replaced chicks, lets face it Destiny's Child was basically Beyonce (Diana Ross) and her backing vocals (Supremes).

TLC is a group both with individual equal importance. I love this first album, songs like "Baby, baby, baby", "What about your friends", "His story" and "Ain 2 proud to beg" are great songs, Left Eye has never had a stronger role on a TLC album than this one, who knew that these ladies would end up to be the biggest girl group of their era. I suggest you get yourself a copy.

Free Music Review: Do I rate for then or now?
Hit: 4 Stars

If I had to rate the song based on how I would feel about it after listening now I would probably give it a two or three stars since I was only 12 when the album debuted in 1992. But back then I listend to it over and over and over again so I know I would have definitely given it a five star. I've just matured since then and I'm sure they have to. Well I hope so. TLC (T-Boz, Left-eye, and Chili) where all adults when this album debuted but their energy and youthful clothing and behavior made them appear much younger and it made them appealing to a much younger crowd. I wish I still had the album so that I could listen to it now and see what memories it would bring back . In the early nineties I didn't own a cd player. I thought they were for rich people or people like my brother who didn't mind spending so much money on a cd player and expensive cds. Now I own an ipod.
TOLD YA THINGS CHANGE!

Free Music Review: GREAT DEBUT! ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS I OWN!
Hit: 4 Stars

I listened to this album fully for the first time about two years ago and I must say, it's off the hook even though it was released 13 years ago. Wow! L.A. Reid and Babyface surely knew what they were doing when they signed this group. This is one of the best girl groups of all time. They have sold millions of records and not even Destiny's Child, oops, I mean Beyonce & Destiny's child can top this groups' success. What I like about this group is none of the members ever hogged the spotlight like Beyonce did. They were equals and also different. Overall, great album. Even though it's 13 years old, it's a must buy.

Free Music Review: 4.5 stars
Hit: 4 Stars

For awhile now, I had all of TLC's albums except for this one. (I have a weird tendency to purchase an artist's discography backwards.) Anyway, I finally bought it and when I popped it into my CD player, I listened to it threee times straight through. I absolutely love it! It's so fun and energetic. This is obviously the album that Left Eye had the creative control on. Every song is great, especially "His Story." I also loved "Intermission I." Funny stuff. This is definitely one of those albums you clean your house to, or you can just listen to it without any disruptions. Either way, I highly recommend.

Free Music Review: A fun, young debut project by the ladies of LaFace...
Hit: 4 Stars

TLC, a young female trio sporting cross-colours and adhesives (band-aids, condoms), stormed the charts in the beginning of '92, with the incredibly catchy "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg," and the friendship anthem "What About You Friends," both of which feature production from Dallas Austin. Other fun tracks are "Hat 2 Da Back," a mere fashion/independent female anthem, and the feel-good ballad, "Baby, Baby, Baby," produced by L.A., Babyface and Daryl Simmons. One listen of this album will give the young and exciting pop music appeal...
