Free Music Review: WOW what a cast album

This was my first Broadway show , I heard all the hype before hand. I was lucky to see it on the last night and what a show. The music was super and it made you sit up and get involved with the plot and the music . To bad it did'nt last longer , the show and especilly the musical score deserves better. " Out of fashion " was my favorite song and Eurans voice was so beautiful , it wraped around the music . Everyone else has said it already, but I want to add my vote. The NY album is better than the London album, and conveys the meaning of the show I saw in New York. There are times this show brought tears to my eyes, and the album does the same. You can't see the show anymore, and the spectacular Raul Esparza has moved on. Hopefully he'll get the part that makes him a household name soon, because he deserves it. I was fortunate enough to see this show twice on Broadway and, even though the new book by Charles Busch was a little problematic, the show made me leave the theatre on a natural high. It was very uplifting and the Broadway cast were superlative in their passion onstage and on this recording. I've had this new CD for a couple weeks now and, honestly, it hasn't left my car CD player since.Once you listen to this CD, spread the word on its joys.

Theater sometimes takes itself too seriously.If you want to listen to some amazing writing, follow a creative story and hear some superb performances, buy this cd.I was lucky to catch the show several times in London & in NY and I loved it. An amazing, fresh and relatable piece of work. Whether gay, straight, bi or undecided, everyone can relate to wanting to be loved & accepted. That's what Taboo is all about.

I was one of the lucky people who were able to see this show on Broadway. Yes, you read right - lucky. Screw the critics - this show received a standing ovation! The audience loved it! My whole family loved it. Buy this CD. The songs are incredibly well written. So glad the Broadway Cast Album has been released!! Thank you Rosie and Boy!
