Free Music Review: Hard, heavy, grungy, awesome

Tad was always one of my favorite grunge bands - yes that's right - they are a grunge band. As much as I don't like labeling bands as this genre or that, Tad actually seemed to be the definition of grunge. They were dark, heavy, often slow, and uncommercial. Songs like "Wired God" and "Stumblin Man", are to me the epitome of the whole grunge scene, unlike the pop crap coming from many so-called grunge bands. This is really a great, genius album that has lasting power and has no filler. It's unfortunate that this has been discontinued - I have it on cassette and still listen to it. I guess it's time to move into the 21st century and download the MP3.
