Free Music Notes for Greatest HitsFree Music Review: The Definitive Boyband Album Hit: 5 Stars
Take That were a boyband, No if's how's or buts about it. They unlike all that came after them were not ashamed of the fact. The prime reason being is that they had an excellent singer/songwriter in the form of gary barlow , the overflowing personality of robbie williams, the sex appeal of mark owen, and last but not least, the best two dancers in pop, Jason orange and howard donald. All in all, they were probably the most talented british pop group of the 90's and the greatest contradiction in music. A talented manufactured pop group.Like any normal band their first 3 or 4 songs are not very good, but gradually improve over time and Take That certainly did. As gary barlow's songwriting improved so did they, and What songs !!! The enclopedia of singles which list the 1000 greatest singes of this century include 5 take that singles as all time classics Buy the album, and listen without preduice. You will be surprised. and saddened that this band only existed for a relatively short time and they went with a bang , never to return.
Free Music Review: The biggest band of the 90's Hit: 5 Stars
This album is amazing and diverse with timeless pop songs. Another huge global chart topping album as everyone said goodbye to the biggest pop band of the 90's in the UK and one in general worldwide outside North America. Honestly believe that Take That must be the biggest band from Britain never to have fully made it in America - even more so than Robbie as a solo artist. Had TT been as huge as they were worldwide in the States i believe the US would definately have a different view of pop bands or boybands. Get this album for all the highlights. If Take That release Greatest Hits Vol 2 in the States (when it happens) or the new full line up album with Robbie back in the band i think it would be a slow burner but would do surprisingly well.
Free Music Review: this cd has taken TT to the zenith of their pop-popularity!! Hit: 5 Stars
this cd is a must-have for every tom, dick 'n' harry with an ear or two for music. 'babe' is a heart rendering piece of music. just listening to it makes my heart cry out for the poor soldier who misses out on the birth 'n' infancy of his son whose existence he isn't even aware of, till he sees his 'babe'. the song 'PRAY' oozes sensuality. the video is incredible 'n' we get to see the glistenin' torsos of my beloved (uncle? ) mark, robbie 'n' gary! incidentally you won't find any shot showing gary's feet cos he was wary of any scorpion-fans on the sandy beach. guys, if you still have no idea as to who the TT were, then i PRAY that Gawd save your sinkin' titanic-like, worthless measly life!!!
Free Music Review: Good piece of memorabilia from my childhood Hit: 5 Stars
I can still remember the exact time, down to the last second when I heard the news that Take That were spliting up. They say you remember where you were when Kennedy was shot, but I remember where I was when I saw the front page of 'The Daily Express' on that fateful February day. To my regret I had never bought 'Could It Be Magic' when they released it as a single and I kicked myself ever since. But, one day my eye lay upon this CD in the shops and when I saw it had my most sought after song on I had to buy it. You should buy it for this reason if you do not buy it for any other. It is a fantasic album an a brilliant one to reminise to my pre-pubescent days to. Sheer genius.
Free Music Review: One CD You will never get bored of Hit: 5 Stars
Whether you would like to admit it or not we have all at one time either danced or sung quitely a Take That song, if you haven't you're lieing. This CD takes you from start to finish of the hetic whirlwind that was Take That. It all started with the raw, if not funky, Do What You Like and finished with the excellent mature cover of How Deep is Your Love, in the middle were some top tunes teens of the 1990's will never forgot, all the truly great Take That hits are on this album. A must buy for all pop/dance music fans, you will listen to it over & over again. One in 20 years time your children will be prond you've bought. The only thing better is the video.
