clearly this is the best band in the world. they were once pop and without much transition they became this amazing jazz. to explain there sound in this album is almost like radiohead jazz. mark writes the most fitting lyrics to match the new sound (it all fits together perfectly). if you like the slower jazz sound with the abstract radiohead theme, you need to get up on this. this is the best cd in the world a real classic hard find.Free Music Review: Masterpiece

This is one a handfull of albums that changed the way I percieve music. The others are DARK SIDE OF THE MOON(Pink Floyd),REVOLVER(Beatles),PINK MOON(Nick Drake),GONE TO EARTH,SECRETS OF THE BEEHIVE(David Sylvian),LED ZEPPELIN IV,FOXTROT(Genesis),ELTON JOHN'S GREATEST HITS VOL.1,LOW(Bowie)and FRAGILE(Yes). Words can't describe to beauty and mystery to this wonderful work.And to think they started off as a synth pop band!??!Free Music Review: a piece of the truth

talk talk shifted its style for 'colour of spring,' but 'spirit of eden' is another matter altogether. it begins with the beautiful flow of 'the rainbow,' 'eden,' and 'desire.' 'i believe in you' might be mark hollis's most personal lyric. there are hints of erik satie, eric dolphy, and 'in a silent way' era miles davis in there. it's just amazing music.Free Music Review: Wow

My friend let me borrow her CD. She said to listen to it at around 10pm at night, in candlelight or with the lights dimmed. She said it would change my life. :) Not quite sure about that, but this CD is great! And all of the other top reviews for it helped convince me to get my own copy. Glad I did.
