Our radio staion 100.1 THEX started playing this song by the Talking Heads and my husband went crazy over it. We could never get the radio station to take our call and they never said the name of the song after it was played. Well, thanks to Amazon you can play snips of the songs from the albums. I was able to suprise my excited husband and give it to him as a "Just Because" gift.

Free Music Review: Best Live Album Ever

This is one of the great live albums ever released.The newly restored version with the extra track only solidifies an already top notch album.
This showcases the talents of David Byrne and the Talking Heads, and clearly shows why they were the best American band through much of the '80s.
Highly recomended for anyone who likes the Talking Heads, or anyone who is just looking for a fun album.

Just a point of clarification: this Special Edition CD is a great compilation and has great re-mastered sound, but it is not the complete soundtrack from the movie. The CD is missing the songs "Cities" and "I Zimbra"/"Big Business", probably cut out because it would force the compilation to be put onto 2 CDs instead of one. Anyway, it's still a great disc so check it out.

Like many other Talking Heads fans, I have been hoping for this release for years. It has finally been re-issued, but unfortunately still not in its entirity as 3 songs have been omitted; Cities, I Zimba and Big Business. 19 songs appeared on the special edition video, but this edition of SMS only has 16 songs. Too bad it was not a true re-release of the entire concert film.Free Music Review: Essential Talking Heads

This is a band that I fell in love with the first time I heard their music! I was fortunate and saw them at a small venue during the Stop Making Sense tour! They were fantastic, the music was fantastic, and the presentation was fantastic!It's all captured here! If you love the Talking Heads you probably already own this and get it - if you've got to ask, you never will!
