Free Music Notes for Stop Making Sense: Special New Edition (1984 Film)Free Music Review: Byrne is the epitome of brilliance to the extreme. Hit: 5 Stars
Anyone who is a David Byrne fan will no what I mean when I say David is best when he performs live. His energy is contagious and his lyrics are full of cleverness. I think that Stop Making Sense was one of the most prolific musical sensations of all time. If you don't have this in your musical collection you are truly missing out on some of the best music ever created.
Free Music Review: TOP OF THEIR GAME! Hit: 5 Stars
It amazes me that this recording is 16 years old. The sound on this newly remastered and expanded edition boggles my mind. The sound is so clear and full it sounds as if you are on stage with the band. The performaces are stellar as well. A true watermark in the career of the Talking Heads as well as for live albums in general. A classic.
Free Music Review: The best live CD by Talking Heads Hit: 5 Stars
This is by far the best live CD you can get from the Talking Heads. Unfortunately that's not saying much because "The Name Of This Band Is Talking Heads" was never available on CD and the kinda limits the number of live CDs.Even so - the performances outdo the originals in many cases, and that is quite rare these days.
Free Music Review: Incredible Live Album! Hit: 5 Stars
Stop Making Sense is one of the greatest live albums of all time. The live versions of the songs are as good as the album versions, if not better. Psycho Killer, Thank You For Sending Me An Angel, Burning Down The House, and Life During Wartime really stand out. There isn't, however, a bad song on the entire album. Buy it.
Free Music Review: Probably the best concert ever preserved Hit: 5 Stars
Simply the single best set by any band in the history of rock and roll. I know there will be people out there who will point to some Dead concert that's only available on a third generation cassette, but this set is as hot as the Heads ever were. The expanded edition is a great gift to the world.
