Free Music Notes for Stop Making Sense: Special New Edition (1984 Film)Free Music Review: Best Live Album Of The 80s! Hit: 5 Stars
Better than any other live album of the 80's, including U2, this has a generous addition of 7 bonus tracks. The sound is quite an improvement over the original edition (which was quite good for its time already). When will they release "The Name Of This Band Is The Talking Heads"????
Free Music Review: wow Hit: 5 Stars
this work it an essential for anyone and everyone. tight, moving, thought-provoking lyrics with a form-meeting-function instrumental style like never before. the classics are one this one: 'once in a lifetime' and burning down the house' with some of the other, more loved, favorites as well
Free Music Review: How can you go wrong Hit: 5 Stars
I wish they'd have included EVERYTHING from the expanded movie release, but oh well. The CD is one of my top 10 (and was in its original release as well). My only complaint is that the booklet appears to be the same inside with only a different cover. Why not some historical notes.
Free Music Review: David Byrne is God Hit: 5 Stars
Stop Making Sense is arguably the best live album ever produced. David Byrne is the world's most creative music with a knack for the extraordinary. He puts on a wicked show and this CD shows why. Every track just booms from the speakers. BUY IT!!
Free Music Review: One of the most influential bands of the last 20 years Hit: 5 Stars
This companion c.d. to the groundbreaking concert film is only made stronger with the additional seven bonus tracks. Influencing everyone from Widespread Panic, R.E.M., to Phish, this should be a part of any serious music collector's catalog.
