Free Music Notes for The Name of This Band is Talking HeadsFree Music Review: One of the best albums in a long time Hit: 5 Stars
Not the biggest fan of live albums, this would definately have to be the exception. There are all the popular early songs in versions that sound new and contemporary, not 30 (gasp)years old. The performances sound so crisp and spontaneous, especially the earliest stuff. Such a treat! If you are a fan of the Talking Heads, then no collection is complete without this album. I just feel bad that I didn't get this on LP earlier.
Free Music Review: Finally! Hit: 5 Stars
Years ago, I bought a CD burner and hooked my turntable up to my PC JUST to burn my prized vinyl copy of this album to CD. While I'll miss the 20 years worth of pops and clicks that are permanently archivied on that disc, I'll find new memories created by the extra tunes on this wonderful set. I've always had a greater fondness for this set over Stop Making Sense. Buy it and listen to the band evolve.
Free Music Review: Muscular Hit: 5 Stars
I got interested in this CD after seeing the live videos on the Remain In Light dualdisc. I didn't realize that Adrian Belew played with them live in 1981. Augemented by funkmaster Bernie Worrel on keys, the great Dolette McDonald and Nona Hendryx on backing vocals, an extra bassist and a percussionist, this band was tougher and louder than ever.
You gotta get this one.

Free Music Review: Intro to Talking Heads: 101 Hit: 5 Stars
Long time Talking Heads fan here. I had this on tape years ago and finally bought the CD - without question the best Talking Heads recording available. If you're new to the Talking Heads, this CD should be your "Intro to Talking Heads: 101". Having seen them numerous times in the '70's when in college in Providence, this CD truly captures the live energy and emotion they were known for.
Free Music Review: Great LIVE Talking Heads Hit: 5 Stars
This CD features live concert of the Talking Heads from 1978 to 1981. Its got a great song selection and really showcases their best in concert before they reached superstardom with MTV. I like this era of the band because they still had their Eno influence and was just introducing a percussion and keyboard member. A must have for people who like concert audio.
