What a talented young lady. I have always considered myself to be an individual able to hide emotions when needed. However, I have to admit to listening to Taylors music and struggling at times to not get a little watery eyed listening to her beautiful lyrics. The song, The Best Day, is beautiful and demonstrates her strong sense of family. You know, when we are born, it is kind of like standing in a lottery line to see what cards you will be dealt. Will you be attractive, beautiful on the inside and maybe have a special talent. Well, Taylor Swift has hit the trifecta. If you read these reviews Taylor, stay well so that you may continue to share your gift with us, your fans. Your music is so beautiful. I bought Taylor's first cd when I heard "Tim McGraw" and I loved "Teardrops on My Guitar" but I didn't like the rest of the CD and quickly gave it away.
FEARLESS on the other hand does not have a wasted track. Sure she is young and she is expressing the way a person feels at that age but I think anyone who has suffered a relationship that went sour - they can certainly relate.
It is nice to see a BIG TALENT without a BIG HEAD!!!
Was not expecting to love it - but I was surprised.

Taylor Swift is one of my favorite singers. She may not have the most incredible voice in the world, but she has quite a nice voice and she is an extremely talented songwriter. If you are a teenage girl who has had any kind of trouble with boys, no matter what the problem, there is a Taylor Swift song for it. Her songs are all completely relatable and when listening to her songs, every girl can say; "I have felt that way before" or "I've always wanted to say that". She manages to speak the feelings that many people aren't able to put into words. Listening to her music is very freeing and fun, everybody should buy her albums. Taylor Swift is simply amazing. Sophomore slump? I think not. Thirteen more self-written songs, one more Billboard #1 album. Guaranteed. Those that say they were expecting a more "mature" album from Swift's second album...are you kidding me? She's EIGHTEEN. Get over it. This girl has written more hits in three years than most solid country performers write in an entire career. With all due respect to Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, this girl IS country music right now. Buy this album. Better yet, don't. You'll be hearing nearly all of Swift's newest releases blared through the airwaves of America's country AND pop radio stations soon enough.
