Free Music Review: Best comic soundtrack since "A Mighty Wind"

This is one of those CD's the reviewer is forced to wave his hands and just say buy it. I've don't know how many times I've listened to it since I purchased it, but it is amazingly funny. Why this movie wasn't a hit continues to astonish me (everyone who I have talked to who has seen it, loved it) -- though it might do very well indeed in DVD format. Many of the songs should be nominated for academy awards, but the PC weenies will certainly make sure they aren't
Note: do not buy this if you are language sensitive. This is not a joke. Many of the songs are as adult as it gets, though some of them (e.g. "Montage" (recycled from one of the South Park episodes) and "I'm so Ronery") are G-rated. Very nice score overall, too.

The funniest film of 2004 now has the funniest movie soundtrack of 2004. Most of the songs heard in the movie (with the exception of the side-splitting end credit ballad "You're Worfress, Arrec Bardwin") are on the album in full profane glory. From the show-stopping Rent bastardization "Everyone Has Aids" to the flag waving "Freedom Isn't Free," Trey Parker's musical genius reaches heights not seen since "Blame Canada" from the South Park movie. Even the orchestrations are OK.
My only gripe is there aren't lyrics included to sing along to "End of An Act," "Only a Woman," and "America, F--- Yeah." Other than that, it's a gleeful, pee-your-pants funny, CD. Definitely recommended for Parker and Stone fans.

I just saw this movie and I have to say that it's probably the funniest movie I've seen in years. I haven't laughed that hard since I saw Matt and Trey's South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut. The songs for the movie are just as funny as the content of the show! They add an even bigger comedy element to the experience. The movie is so over the top with their depiction of our "shock and awe" policy on the war in Iraq to jabbing some serious fun at North Korea's Kim Il Jong. Even the French aren't immune to Matt and Trey. If you're a true South Park fan, you'll like their new move into the world of puppets. The soundtrack has to be part of your collection.
Free Music Review: Worth Buying for the Extra Lyrics

I've been listening to this soundtrack since I saw the movie in the theater, and it's still absolutely hilarious. Most of the songs were shortened for the film, but here we have extended versions with extra lyrics that you can't miss. I was surprised to find that some of the funniest lines are not in the movie. Check out the full versions of "Freedom Isn't Free," "America, F--- Yeah!" and "Only a Woman."
There are a few parody tracks of action movie scores that aren't very interesting. However, the comedy tracks make this disc well worth the price. I love this soundtrack just as much as (or maybe even more than) the movie.

This Cd is pretty hilarious. I love the parody of cliched 80s-90s action film themes, "America, F##K Yeah". And I don't know what that last guy was talking about Matt and Trey not getting any money for the movie. they got a lot of money for it considering they wrote it, directed it, and did like all the voices, plus Trey wrote all these songs and performed a lot of them.But Matt and Trey have said it's cool if fans download their songs for free, they're just happy that people like it. But this CD is way worth your cash,GO BUY IT NOW OR I WILL SEND MY NINJA MONKEY SLAVES TO ASSASSINATE YOU!!!
