Free Music Review: Underage Thinking is an amazing CD

Besides being undeniably attractive for his young age, Teddy Geiger has an amazing voice that nicely complements his outstanding musical abilities. In my opinion, he has a Gavin Degraw-like voice, with Jon Mayer-esque melodies, that combine to create a unique sound. He doesn't sound his age whatsoever, and his soulful lyrics don't seem like sometihng a teenager would write; He sounds much more world than other kids these days.
Rating the tracks:
* These Walls - 9/10 Pretty upbeat and a nice song to sing along with. Not as memorable and it wouldn't have been my pick to be the first song on the CD
* For You I Will (Confidence) - 10/10 Yes, it's overplayed, and yes, the Laguna Beach star, Kristen, from MTV is in his video (which makes it seem like Teddy needed a reality fan to boost the viewers of his video, which isn't the case) but this song is absolutely amazing. The bridge part [["If I could dim the lights in the morn & create a moon..."]] is so stunning. I also think this track is especially good because of how it builds: quiet at first, crescendoing throughout.
* Night Art - 10/10 MY FAVORITE TRACK! It's very Gavin Degraw, which I think it a major plus. Teddy's voice sounds really mature in this one, too, and is a little raspy, which I think makes the song sound raw.
* Thinking Underage - 9/10 It's a good song. Nothing else to really say about it.
* Look Where We Are Now - 8/10 I didn't like this song at first, but it most definitely pulls you in after a while! It's sing-worthy.
* Air Dry - 10/10 LOVE IT! This song is absolutely fabulous. Nothing else to say. There are no words to describe it.
* Seven Days Without You - 10/10. Possibly one of the best songs on the track. It's a really mushy song, but it's not too "pop-ish" It's great. It's one of those songs you'd want to dedicate to someone on the radio.
* Try Too Hard - 9/10 Very upbeat with a mellow touch. This is another song you could sing.
* A Million Years - 10/10 The piano in this song is my favorite out of all of Teddy's songs. Instrumentally, it's the best. Vocally, it's one of the best. If you like a piano sound, this is the first track to listen to when you buy it.
* Possibilities - 10/10. A great song to sing, again. It's a little louder than the other ones.
* Gentlemen - 8/10. I like this song, but the words are a little boring. It's from "Aquamarine," the movie, so if you saw that movie, you'd probably like this track.
* Love Is A Marathon - 7/10. My least favorite track on the CD. It's probably good that it's last because, if you get bored [which you shouldn't], you can skip over it. I do like the whole metaphor that "love is a marathon" or can be "a long open road." It's quite poetic, but I think it's lacking in melody.
Overall, this CD is AMAZING! Don't be fooled by Teddy's charming looks and think he's another teen-bopper. He's definitely not a cookie-cutter, Nsync singer.
