Singer-songwriter Teiter Lassen, 25, is from the Faroe Islands and started off in a Faroe band named "Mark No Limits." He later went solo and has had two extraordinary albums out, Poetry and Aeroplanes, in 2003, and his more recent Stay under the Stars, which was released this year.
His music sounds like a new age folk, such as Jason Mraz, James Blunt and Gavin DeGraw. It is heartfelt and extremely moving. The listener can really feel the artist's emotions within his voice and the sultry music that accompanies it.
This slower rhythm in his current album is great for relaxing and soothing the soul. Most of the songs have a slower beat and do not change their tone throughout the songs. His music is calming and is guaranteed to relax the spirit of the listener.
