When i took the time to listen to this, I was happy with everything I found here. It was like travelling through a nightmare that had been played through with all kinds of controllers, and i really enjoyed the nostalgia. i also enjoyed the choices - if you were a player ad if you took the time to beat these games, the sounds sort of just stick with you. Hearing them again, a decade after that first experience, is something that felt good to me, to.
Honestly, it make me quite happy.
From what I could tell, I heard 0, 1, 2, 3 CV, and another game in the fray. I would look them up but I'm not going to - I hope that a more motivated reviewer breaks down everything for those who just have to know. I can say that the price is really good, that the songs are really surpringly there, and that the price is right.
Having this made me feel good.
If you are a fan of the series, you wil want this. I say tht as a fan and as someone who know the music and had an attachment to me. If I did not have that attachment I think I would still find the music to be worth getting, but only someone in that position really knows.
I do know one thing - you can check out all the sounds and decide for yourself, not having to take a reviewer's word for anything. That has to be the best thing in the world - helpful is the word of someone who says that only one opinion - your own - is the opinion that knows if something is good for you or not.

This cd is very good, had a great selection of tracks from every Resident Evil title (until 4). For example, even if I never heard the RE 3 music, every selection captures the spirit the particular game it came from. Also the poster behind the front cover is excellent. Too bad that to use it I had to loose the front cover. :-(
I recomended this for people that love RE and want to had a "special something" in their music collection. If you don't know much about the series and want to try, listen to the excerpts of music in the page, they are an excellent way to know if you'll like it or not.

the thing about this soundtrack is that it is not just a game soundtrack, it could work as a halloween party soundtrack, or something like that.
the re4 tracks are seriously boring but the rest of the cd is wonderful, and if u played the game, you'll get flashbacks.
i do not recommened this for begginers, or rookies in this game, its seriously for fans only, concidering the connection of the music with the game itself.
ps: for ipod users and such, the artist in this cd is Soundtrack, so it will be really annoying if u have more than one cd with such artist label.

You should be familiar with the gameplay and have a memory of your own games at hand, though. As a simple soundtrack CD this may not be the best choise since the game-score is "programmatic" / functional music in the best sense of the word. You want a good score to a horrormovie? Try out the orchestral score of "Hostel".
If you like the RE game you should add this to your collection!
