Free Music Notes for Formation of DamnationFree Music Review: Skolnick' s awesome comeback!!! Hit: 5 Stars
This album is a metal masterpiece. Alex Skolnick's guitar work is outstanding and the drums are driving and brutal. Nowadays, by far Testament is the best Thrash Metal band in the world. Don't waste your hard earned money with Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax or even Megadeth's stuff, all of them sound completely outdated, while Testament's is full of vitality. Testament rules!!!!
Free Music Review: Metal album of the year, no question! Hit: 5 Stars
It's like The Gathering meets The Legacy, or perhaps what the Gathering would have been with Alex Skolnick.
Either way this album thrashes like mad and puts the bands talent to full use.
The Henchmen Ride and More Than Meet The Eye are certainly not only among the best from Testament ever, but the best songs in the thrash metal genre to date.
Free Music Review: with this line up there was 2 choice crash and burn? or rise to glory! Hit: 5 Stars
with alex back and paul bostoph behind the kit and gregs return to bass they had done it right and proved they still have the chemisty and abillity to thrash old school.this is a must have for thrash fans.i'll let the music speak for it's self and volumes it will tell.it fits well within the recordings new order and low.ols school styles and heavy crushing riffs
Free Music Review: More encouraging than recent Metallica Hit: 5 Stars
Testament have reunited the traditional line-up and crafted a surprisingly catchy, very heavy & aggressive new CD that compares very favourably to THE NEW ORDER & LEGACY. Unlike notable contemporaries, they've managed to do it with good production, too. If you enjoy bay-area thrash with attitude, you can't go wrong with this disc. Well worth a listen.
Free Music Review: The Day Of Thrash. Hit: 5 Stars
This album was great.
I would suggest it for any metal music lovers. The drumming has improved alot, the speed is so much better than the last couple and the band has truly come together in the best way possible on this cd.
Welcome thrash kings, welcome real metal, welcome scream souls.
Buy it, Never regret.
