Free Music Review: Solid and fun indie album

Santi is straight-up a fun album - and not in the shallow, good-for-only-a-couple-spins way. Much like the Arctic Monkeys, Academy is able to maintain an up-beat, poppy sound without growing monotonous or soft. Hooks are rampant, and the vocals are strong. If only they could come up with a different name...

Almost Here was fantastic. It was one of my favorite indie-rock albums of recent years. It was lyrically clever and catchy. I'm not sure what happened to this album. Its not that it got more poppy sounding or too overproduced or anything. Its not even that they took another musical direction and it went awry. It just got worse. As if the band completely ran out of material to work with. Rather than being catchy the music is just annoying and lacking. Rather than being clever the lyrics are dumb. So this album just left me in a bad mood thinking, "What happened to a band that had the potential to be so much better?"Free Music Review: Santi, Santi!

I had bought songs from the previous album, and they were great. But I must say that TAI has improved their sounds, and there are some great songs ("Neighbors", "Sleeping With Giants", "LAX to O'Hare"). Many people think TAI sounds like Fall Out Boy, not true. This album shows how much they and Fall Out Boy are different. The vocals are great, and so is everything else. Buy this album!!!Free Music Review: Santi, Santi!

This album is awesome. I mean seriously it's awesome as hell. When i heard a few songs at the Honda civic concert i couldn't believe how great they sounded then i finally got the album and i was amazed. It was just as great if not better than their last. They sound so much better and they're songs are so wonderful. This is definitely the album that any fan of the fueled by ramen label or the academy is... needs to get. Great job guys this one rocks!
