Free Music Notes for Remove the Earth AlbumFree Music Review: Solid hardcore Hit: 4 StarsI agree with W. Meranda, Strongarm and Shai Halud are definitely big influences on Advent's sound. He did say they aren't on Solid State, which they are, Tooth and Nail Records is the parent label of SS. The lyrics are solid and the music is pretty heavy, overall the album is brisk and catchy. I caught them on the Demon Hunter tour this year and they put on an energetic show. Joe's vocals are much stronger than they were on the Beloved album and ep.
The other reviews are a little off. Comparing this to Beloved and pointing out the "cheesy" gang vocals shows a lack of understanding of this genre. And the line about this being worth checking out if you're into grindcore is WAY off. This is hardcore and nothing but.
Listen to the samples and judge for yourself.
