Free Music Notes for The Adventures Of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert: Original Motion Picture SoundtrackFree Music Review: Where's the Roller Rink? Hit: 5 StarsYes, all the songs i grew up skating to at the local rink! Yes, i had tennis shoe rollerskates then! This just brings it all back in a tremendously fun package. And remembering the movie while doing so makes it even more campy!
Free Music Review: Great movie, good soundtrack Hit: 4 StarsOkay, somewhere between good and great. Good compilation fodder, but how many remixes of "I Like the Nightlife" do you really need? About 6 apparently. Still, good background music for a party. Pleased I bought it.
Free Music Review: Divinely Frivolous!! Hit: 5 StarsWhat a great movie! And a great soundtrack to go with it. This CD has kept me in high spirits for a little over six years, and it still is one of the best. This CD is probably the best for dancing in your cube at work, LOL... Some of the remixes can get repetitive but otherwise, this is a must for the 70s retro music fans...
Free Music Review: Excellent CD Hit: 5 StarsThis CD is a gem! Great songs from top to bottom. Love it!!
Free Music Review: Just Plain Fun Hit: 5 StarsThere's a variety of interesting things on this disc, a couple of pop classics by White Plains and R.B. Greeves, a couple of "lounge" classics by Trudy Richards and Lena Horne. The version of "Billy Don't Be A Hero" is actually the original version by Paper Lace, but not the hit version by Bo Donaldson & the Heywoods that everyone is familiar with. And you get a nice mixture of dance remixes by Alicia Bridges, Gloria Gaynor, and Peaches and Herb. Overall this is a good time disc, very enjoyable.
