Sure enough, Amazon.com (through their Warehouse Deals subsidiary) sent me the orignial 1987 version of the CD. The good news is that the recording sessions used digital technology (DDD), so the CD doesn't need remastering. (Remastering improves sound quality when a previous analog to digital transfer was not done well and/or did not involve the original master tape. Both scenarios were common for older albums being issued on to CD in the 1980s.) But I'm still missing the bonus tracks that will go on the 2008 reissue. What these will include has not been announced on the APP website.
Gaudi Poster
This album was originally released by Arista Records in 1987. This album was inspired by the life and works of Antonio Gaudi (1852-1926), a Catalan architect whose grand conception, The Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona, involves a construction timetable which will run for hundreds of years.
