I just bought this new and much improved pressing of this fab cd. I had the old cd that is still available on Amazon that has perhaps the most positive reviews of all the operatic recordings on Amazon..I think over 25 rave reviews, and I can see why...singing that is simply a joy to the ears, even stupendous, as her name is La Stupenda. And this pressing deserves any Sutherland fans to upgrade. Why? The voice is more realistic sounding than in the older pressing. I also bought her Lucia with Pavorotti as I had only her very early Lucia with Cioni. I think I like the later version much better. The voice sounded more creamy, velvety.
