Please stop all this bashing. I see Sills fans bashing Sutherland, and vise versa. I see Callas fans bashing Sills,and vise versa. I see Sutherland fans bashing Callas, and vise versa. And I see Sills fans bashing Callas and vice versa. Did I miss any combination? Well you all know what I mean.Well, I'm a fan of all three and am heart broken to see this. I've already written notice to the Sills and Callas website to echo this plead to stop the bashing!
Bashers do a diservice to opera. I want my children to enjoy the great singers of our time. And all three divas are equally great and enjoyable. I've personally never bash any of the three divas since I love them all. But I'm apologizing for any of the fans who have made insults that may have offended anyone. And hope that we end this once is for all. It is totally unproductive. The basher know who they are, and I'm sure they're really good people who are just angry. My thought is to put the anger aside and concentrate on the great Lyrical theatre of opera.

This is the most impressive cd by a coloratura soprano that I can think of. I myself have worn it out several times even in cd.I highly recommend this.
That's why they call her "La Stupenda". Because she is the best and is incomparable. This cd proves it.

Sutherland is the "Voice of the Century". Her "Art of the PRima Donna" is one of Decca's best selling recital for a coloratura ever.If you want to hear the most amazing display of vocal fireworks ever recorded. Buy this. You will not be disappointed.
I even like it better than the legendary Norma and Lucia with La Stupenda.
