Free Music Review: Better than I thought

I just wanted to buy something that I would like to play in my car when I'm not alone, because I like heavy metal music, so not everyboby likes Rock. But I was surprised when I started to listen those cds (2). At first, they have very good package, nice and the book...well is something else. But this music is amazing. Ok, I made a mistake, my family (the older) wont like this music, I should buy Yanni for them, so I took B52 for me??? even if I'm listening Slayer.... it works, because is fresh, easy listening and also still hard music???

'Nude On The Moon' lights up a pair of CD's with 35 tracks from 9 albums released between 1979-2001. Included are rarities like 'Quiche Lorraine' from the PETA 'Tame Yourself' & 'Whammy Kiss', live at the Cleveland Music Hall and a couple of unreleased tracks, 'Is That Mo-Dean?' (Inter-Dimensional Mix) & 'Queen Of Las Vegas' (Mesopotamia Outtake Version). Also includes liner notes by writer Michael Aserrad (Rolling Stone), tons of cool & rare pics. Packaging consists on 2 digipaks in a slipcase. Rhino Records.Given that the B-52's 1998 greatest-hits package, Time Capsule, comprehensively surveyed their best and most commercially pervasive missives while including a newly recorded track, "Debbie"--inspired by Debbie Harry and reprised wholesale on Nude on the Moon--it's fair to question the wisdom of this sprawling two-disc set. While new edits, live versions, and remixes pad the sessions and are nice and all, wigged-out chestnuts like "52 Girls," "Rock Lobster," "Dance This Mess Around," "Planet Claire," "Love Shack," and "Roam" really goose the action. That said, revisiting the perennial fashion risks from Athens, Georgia, remains a rare joy. Those old enough to remember the group's landmark Saturday Night Live debut--those wigs, that suit, those far-out gyrations!--will look back fondly not just on the B-52's florescent musical bounty but on the weirdly enduring resonance of their interstellar psychobabble. --Kim Hughes
