We purchased this for my Daughter's themes Backyardigans party. She loved the music and asks to listen to it at breakfast every morning. My daughter loves the Backyardigans in general but this is a way for her to get to listen to the music (her favorite part) without always watching TV. Music is not annoying for adults as so many of the choices are now adays. Free Music Review: Better than a movie

Our 2-year-old son absolutely LOVES this album. He would rather listen to the cd than watch a movie in the car. The songs are catchy and quick and are fun to listen to for the whole family. The production quality of both the music composition as well as the overall sound is excellent. This is definitely a "must-have" for any cd collection! I'll never forget the day my husband and I were in the car with my daughter and The Drumming Song came on. I loved it and felt like it was my dirty little secret. Rather sheepishly, I confessed to him that I loved it and he looked at me and said, "I do too!" That's when I knew we had hit the jackpot. I love the Backyardigans in general and my daughter is a huge fan. The music is fun and covers a wide variety of styles but what is most surprising of all is how very clever the lyrics are. My husband and I frequently laugh out loud at some of them. I just love seeing my daughter bopping the the beat in the backseat and singing along with her favorite characters. This CD truly does kids' music proud and proves that if it is done well it's also a treat for adults.Free Music Review: An absolute hit!

My 2 and 5 year old are obsessed with the Backyardigans and both adore listening to this on our car rides. It has lots of great songs from the animated show and you'll be singing them again and again even when the music is done.
There are very few children's music CD's that I can tolerate, this is definitely one of our favorites!

My two year old can NOT go to sleep at night without this CD playing -- which is kind of weird that she can go to sleep with the peppy music playing. She jumps for joy every time we turn it on. I have never been a fan of kids stuff - I don't watch Disney movies or get into other animated shows - but I LOVE the Backyardigans, mostly for the music. I get so tired of all her other CDs, but I will put this one in the CD any day. The music genres change each episode (from rock to Broadway to salsa to Irish), so the CD is full of different sounding songs. And, even though they target kids, these songs are really enjoyable to me as an adult. "The Rules" and "AHA" are my favorite songs, but really all of the music on this CD is good.
