Free Music Notes for The Backyardigans: Born to PlayFree Music Review: Even better than the first two CDs Hit: 5 Stars
Our whole family enjoys this third CD filled with songs from the Backyardigans series. Our 2 year old is a huge Backyardigans fan and it has been playing in our car nonstop. The music is enjoyable for both kids and parents, with the wide variety of musical styles and witty lyrics. I agree with many others that my favorite on the CD is "Go, Go, Go". It's so upbeat and catchy. The bonus track of songs from the Tale of the Mighty Knights are also great. We often hear our son singing "I'm not an Egg Anymore". We are still waiting for "Cruisin the Dunes" and "Astronauts Never Give Up" to appear in a future album.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the packaging is cardboard, but that wasn't a big plus or minus for us. I also imported the CD into iTunes and it was able to read the CD information without a problem.
Free Music Review: I love the Backyardigans Hit: 5 Stars
This is the 1st Backyardigans CD I've purchased for my daughter. She loves the Backyardigans and always wants to listen to them in the car, which I don't mind. She was very familiar with the songs from her repeated viewings of the episodes. Our favorites (yes, our) include Go, Go, Go; W-I-O-Wa; and the Tale of the Mighty Knights songs (because of the live show). It's a great CD, but I don't like the CD case...as some others mentioned, it's kinda cumbersome. Nice that it's paper and not plastic, but it's torn already. I still gave it 5 stars, though.
Free Music Review: Great CD Hit: 5 Stars
I purchased this CD for my daughter, we don't have the other 2 CDs yet. We really enjoy listening to it in the car. I have to admit that sometimes I even listen to it when my daughter isn't in the car. It is really upbeat and puts both of us in a good mood. Also, someone said that the voices weren't the same as the Backyardigans show, but I think they are. The Backyardigans show uses different voices for when the character talks and when the character sings, so of course the majority of the CD is the singing voices. I highly recommend the CD
Free Music Review: The hits just keep coming Hit: 5 Stars
For fans and non-fans alike, this newest collection from the gang is dance-able, singable, put a smile-on-your-face happy music. For the youngsters, lots of get out of your seat tunes with words they can learn without driving older folks nuts. For those of us who are older, tracks echo markedly different musical styles and flash an insider humor. We enjoyed parodies of news anchors, Sam Spade detectives, beach music, and some old Queen tunes. The songs are fresh and fun, and tunes are paired up with lyrics in unpredictable ways. It's just fun.
Free Music Review: My kids loved this CD Hit: 5 Stars
I have two girls, 2 and 4 years old, and they loved this CD from the start. I liked it because it has differnet types of music to keep it from geeting old like some kids CDs that are all the same synthesized sounds over and over. They know the words and the characters without any help and remember what episodes the songs are from. PLus it gets them up and dancing when we pay it at home. I highly recommend it to anyone whose kids like the Backyardigans or like to dance. Or any mom who just can't take one more round of Barney or the Wiggles.
