This CD was a gift for my 2-year-old's birthday. She and my 4-year-old daughter have only seen 4 or 5 episodes of The Backyardigans but they love the opening music. This CD has that opening tune, which is such a hit with all of us, and they've come to enjoy the rest of the CD. My older daughter particularly likes the Queen Tasha song and plays along that she is Queen Tasha.Free Music Review: Great Stuff!!

What's not to love?? The Backyardigans are simply the most parent friendly kids TV/music around. This CD is not quite as good as the 2nd one "Groove to the Music", but it is pretty good. It seems (although I haven't counted) that the number of episodes represented is less, and some of the tracks are short, but we still think this is great stuff. We listen in the car --sometimes I listen to more than half the CD before I realize there are no kids in the car with me (and I'm singing along)...Free Music Review: Sing along in the car

My two preschoolers love the Backyardigans show and this CD extends the fun and helps them memorize the cute songs featured on the program. Some of the songs are a little slow but the up-tempo numbers more than make up for them. A great introduction to different styles of music, from hip-hop to reggae.Free Music Review: love it, love it, love it

this is a great cd for both mom & baby (or dad & baby). We dance to it, sing to it & listen to it in the car. She's only 15 mos. old so she's not old enough to appreciate the lyrics quite yet. Still, I pull out puppets in desperate times and have them sing & act out the songs when we're in the car on long road trips and nothing seems to work. You know, I just don't get sick of this cd. My baby sure does love this CD, too. This Backyardigans CD has alot of my child's favorites. I have to sing about the pirate saying "ARRR" more times than I care to remember. The tunes are catchy, have modern music in them and, MOST IMPORTANTLY, DON'T SOUND LIKE A PURPLE DINOSAUR!!!! BUY BOTH OF THEM!!!!
