Free Music Review: "Music to my Ears"
Hit: 4 Stars

This is a great group of excellent musicians. Their quality of performance gives the listener an unforgettably and enjoyable time. Hello Love

Free Music Review: This is one of my favorite groups....Ever!!!!!!!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Hello Love is a great little album period. Call it Ameicana, alternative folk,bluegrass...whatever you like, just buy it. You won't be disappointed. All the songs have great merit. Song for R is so time approprite,it is scary, with our current drug culture bein what it is.Most of the songs are upbeatexcept for acouple that are'nt supposed to be.Scattered Leaves is beautiful...AND WHAT ARE THEY DOING IN HEAVEN is so hauntingly beautiful it makes me feel so warm yet soulful and sad at the same time it's..........Just buy it, you will love it..I promise .

Free Music Review: Great Easy Listening
Hit: 5 Stars

I absolutely love this album. But I love all their music. I recommend this to everyone who enjoys easy listening folk, bluegrass, country music.

Free Music Review: Sweet Bluegrass Harmony
Hit: 4 Stars

The Be Good Tanyas have a rougher edge than other "girl-bands" with great harmony, like the Wailing Jennys, and the Weepies. The Be Good Tanyas don't worry about sounding sweet. The waver in the voices make the music more raw and emotional. My friends and I argue whether the band is folk or bluegrass. The banjo, the harmonica, and tempo in the earlier CDs suggest bluegrass, but "Ootishenia" on "Hello Love" is a folk hit waiting to happen.

Free Music Review: Not as good as the Wailing Jenny's
Hit: 2 Stars

I bought this CD based on a suggestion from a Wailing Jenny's review that these were similar bands. I did listen to the snippets here on Amazon but after I played the full music a couple of times, I'm not very happy with it. The songs are (lyrics & music) good, but the lead singer's voice just grates on my ears. So like Bob Dylan, you either love'm or you hate'm. And in this case I fall in the latter category.
