Free Music Notes for Abbey Road (1990)

Free Music Review: Only one small disappointment, but overall it's GREAT
Hit: 5 Stars

They mixed out the part on I Want You (She's So Heavy) when George switches pickups and the switch makes that little click noise... I loved that click :(

Free Music Review: Great product, Horrible packaging.
Hit: 4 Stars

I know this wasn't a first-run or even limited-edition copy of the album yet they still need to find a better way to ship vinyl. My album was received in a 2'x3' cardboard box. It was strategically placed under the lips inside the box. There were no styrofoam peanuts nor airpacks for protection. Out of all the things I've purchased from Amazon this had to be the worse packaged. I'm sure it was just a one-time thing (I hope). I think that better care needs to be taken next time considering vinyl albums are very succeptible to damage.

Review of the album: It's the Beatles' best. What else can I say?

Free Music Review: The beatles
Hit: 5 Stars

The beatles is one of the best rock bands ever compare to todays rock music, most stuff like Linkin park, etc, are just terrible.

The beatles band today is consider as classic rock but back in the hippie generation(1960's) it was kind of consider as psychedelic music.

I think today rock music like linkin park, slipknot, etc. sucks...because their too commercial an main stream, etc.

Like the 70s an 60s music are way better than late 90s till now music.

Anyway this arent much of a review but what the hell.

Free Music Review: Brilliant rock poetry
Hit: 5 Stars

Where do I begin with my review of "Abbey Road?" It is the last true statement of John, Paul, George and Ringo's collective mastery of the rock/pop medium. This ingenious album is deservedly on the Mt. Rushmore monument for its kind. It plunges you into its brilliance from the opening track, "Come Together." This song alone has been covered by other bands and individuals nearly nonstop for the past forty years. From the raw urgency of "Come Together," the listener receives an immediate counter-song that is equally jaw-dropping in "Something." The guitar strings themseleves seem to want to tell a story on this track, and in my opinion "Something" signifies the maturation of songs like "She Loves You" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand." Even what are today lesser-known songs like "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" and "Mean Mr. Mustard" drive home provocative lyrics mixed with irresistible beats and hooks. Epic rock songs like "You Never Give Me Your Money" and "Carry That Weight" are also here. This is what I would point someone to if they asked me why the Beatles were so well-remembered. Enjoy.

Free Music Review: Unfortunately dissatisfied
Hit: 1 Stars

As with the White Album, Abbey Road does not play with total clarity of sound as it is meant to. It will skip in a couple of places after only being played once or twice in my car - one of my favorite albums of The Beatles and one of the first of the remastered albums to supplement my collection.
