Free Music Review: great!
Hit: 5 Stars

this is one of the beatles best albums...i strongly urge that you buy this record, and the movie if its on dvd, if not buy the vhs, but you should buy this album...genius at play here

Free Music Review: It's ok but not as good as previous and later works.
Hit: 3 Stars

I am a new Beatles Fan and have been very impressed with their work. I can't get albums like "Revolver" and "Rubber Soul" out of my CD player. Those are classics that will live on forever! However, I can not say that I feel the same way about "Help."

I really like the majority of the first seven cuts on the album...especially "Ticket To Ride." Indeed, that could be one of the best songs they ever wrote. Sadly, I just can't get into any of the songs past track 7. They sound corny and uninspired in my opinion. I'm not sure what The Fab Four were thinking when they wrote those songs. The first seven songs are so good though that I had to give the album at least three stars.

If you are a new fan of The Beatles, I would stay away from this album and check out "Rubber Soul" or "Revolver." Almost every cut on those albums is great!

Free Music Review: Better Than Revolver
Hit: 5 Stars

Its a charming album. Like most Beatles albums (with the exception of possibly Yellow Submarine and Tragical History Tour), this should be added to your collection. It is not as deep or groundbreaking as Revolver, but the songs are good and the closest the Beatles ever got to Country and folk. Dylan influences and mighty hits.

Free Music Review: Classic CD
Hit: 5 Stars

That's a classic CD, if you like Beatles, it is a must have cd.

Free Music Review: Love it till you burn your laser out..and beyond
Hit: 5 Stars

What's not to love about these 4 guys from Liverpool???? Their whole history is like a movie in itself...

I was lucky enough to be a wide eyed 11 year old, when The Beatles made their American debut on the Ed Sullivan show In February 1964. I got to experience the whole Beatlemania madness firsthand. You just cant imagine how much of the media they controlled back in 1965. From 1964 to 1966...they were the buzz word that everybody was talking. For very good reason....they were the best.

Each of their lp's was a progression....as their appearance changed...as did the length of their hair...so did the music. They grew as musicians...am sure George Martin played a very important role in their growth process.

Which brings us to album #5...Help. The Beatles have reached a mature stage in their career where they've gone beyond the "yea yea yea"...and were actually doing some serious song writing.

There's no need to disect each song track here....anybody who is reading this already knows the songs. For those who aren't that familiar....As with all Beatles albums...there is a very good mix of musical styles represented. This would be the last album to see cover material...Act Naturally and Dizzie Miss Lizzie are the last tracks that will be non-Beatle songs on any albums to follow. Yet another major change in their image.

This has always been my favourite album...followed closely by A Hard Days Night. You just wont find better production.. songwriting ..singing and playing anywhere in the universe.

As another reviewer said....The Beatles were the best of the best....this album represents some of their best efforts.
