Like rediscovering the Beatles all over again. Putting songs and arrangements together in a way that shows genius and imagination. The talent of John, Paul, Ringo & George as lyricists, composers, and poets shine in all tracks. Sir George Martin and his son have made a truly flawless CD. With seamless transitions. This is a musical tour de force. And my wife and I immediately booked tickets to see the Cirque du Soleil show Love in Las Vegas. While purists may balk at the idea of remixing any of the Fab Four's music, I have to disagree. The Martins did an incredible job of blending so much of the Beatles' best stuff as only they could. There are wonderful rarely-heard versions of well known songs (While My Guitar...) and highly effective use of modern digital technology that allows GM and son to transpose songs so as to make them fit together as if they had originally been made to do so (Blackbird/Yesterday). The last 40 seconds of "All You Need Is Love" are beautiful - hints of Sgt. Pepper, Ticket To Ride's intro, Goodnight - wrapping up with a goodbye from John that to me was unexpectedly tender in this context. 78 minutes of non-stop Beatles beauty. Buy this CD.
The DVD audio disc is also a wonderful extra. Lots of clever mixing that makes some of the songs seem new again! Nothing like being "surrounded" by the Beatles all these years later!

Good song selection tastefully mixed. It's a bit of a novelty but stands up to repeated listenings. I won't harbour on suffice to say that if you are a Beatles fan and you have a decent audio set up you'll be taken a back by the soundstage created here (DTS is FAB!)I would love to hear the Beatles catalog given the royal treatment with remastering sooner than anymore of this type of thing. One thing that this product does is give you an idea of just how good the Beatles back catalog would sound remastered. Come on EMI CAPITOL!!Free Music Review: Love Love!

I confess I have not yet played the audio dvd, but I love the cd. When I first listened I listend hard, to find what I could of the differences. Now I just rock to the great music!
