Free Music Review: Just when you think you've heard it all.....

Ir's a truly amazing compilation. The songs that we've all heard before sound breathtakingly new, the transitions from song to song are smoother than anything I'd ever heard before, and lots of the cuts will have you thinking either "Why didn't I think of that?", or "How in the world did they imagine (no pun intended) THAT amalgamation?"
Some of the interspersed songs come through loud and clear (The Word), some are hinted at (Helter Skelter, if you can believe that!), and some leave you guessing (Gnik Nus....you'll get it, I promise).
The selections are primarily Lennon/McCartney (natch!), but every Beatle is represented here.
Some favorites.
1.) Blackbird/Yesterday. Maybe one of the most beautiful cuts here, and it flows from one to the other seamlessly.
2.) Get Back. This one uses 3 different songs to get to one.
3.) Eleanor Rigby. I've just always loved this song and the 5.1 really brings out all the reasons that I'd loved it in the first place.
4.) While My Guitar Gently Weeps. This arrangement just pulls the sadness of the song even further forward.
I could go on and give a reason for loving each song, but I won't.
Suffice it to say that this is a must have for Beatle fans, and for those who haven't quite clicked with them, here's your chance to "give it another go".
Free Music Review: Just Unbelievable

Well, it seems With George Martin well training his son Giles...one day we will all realize that the Beatles were even better than we ever knew. Just when you think there is nothing that can re-express there impact on music...BANG! This is a masterfull and brilliant remastering of a Beatles new mix that from the start is breath taking. Of course George Martin was without a doubt a musical magician inspired by the Beatles passing this legacy to his son we can be sure to hear more crisp and never before heard mixes. But never doubt the source of their insipration of such creativeness. The Beatles redefined music in every way as much as George Martin redfined producing what we hear.
As much as there is such musical magic at the end of the Abbey Road album...this is incredible. If you think it's just Beatle cut think again. This something you've never hear before and something anyone at any age will just say ... wow. Such a crisp remastered set of the original LP productions mixed with never before heard versions no wonder this is a Billboard top 10 album 40 years plus after the fact. It deserves repeating...
One of the greatest Beatles albums ever produced!!!
As a Beatle fan since the day the US first heard a tune and having every LP/CD ever made, this was just a mind blower! Buy it, get it listen to something extraordinary beatle fan or not.
Free Music Review: Fantastic Compilation

If your a true audio nut like me, sound reproduction is very important to the listening experience. After reading a few reviews, i was compelled to add my two cents. The use of melody's and arrangements can stir up all kinds of emotions. Not one person i've played this for did not get goose bumps! The DVD-A version is truly stunning. If you don't have DVD-Audio (different than Dolby 5.1 or DTS 5.1) capabilities, than your not getting the full treat. The DVD-A is High resolution UNCOMPRESSED audio. the later is a compressed version and doesn't have the same data that the DVD-A has. Think of it as having 500 times more information than a standard CD. More data equals more density and fullness.
If the record labels would have done a better job of promoting high-resolution audio (DVD-A or SACD), this format would surely be a huge hit (it is with me, but so little is available!). I wasn't a huge beatle's fan, but always liked their stuff. This has changed the way i feel about them. My 17 month old son has never heard a single beatles song until i bought this. No other music has done this to him, but now he actually points to the DVD player and starts shacking his shoulders wanting me to play it!! It's very cute! Anyways, my point being, for such a little guy, the music even effects his emotions. Music the way it should be.
Free Music Review: Emotional experience

The CD gives more sound, more detail and more depth to the titles chosen for the CD...After seeing Beatles LOVE Cirque de Soliel in Vegas last week, it brings you to an emotional and sensual high unlike any Cirque or compilation of Beatles music. You hear vastly mroe than any other Beatles CD... You KNOW the lyrics and can sing to all of them...The sharpness of the instruments and vocals breathes a new life (not that they were 'old') and passion into the lyrics...You hear so much more...The show is a feast for the eyes and I found myself smiling/crying silently because of the feeling it gave as well as certain parts taking my breath away...even now, just hearing a Beatles song on the radio (I have XM) you notice mroe and appreciate the simplicity of their music and lyrics, yet they are not simplisitc at all...John and George (who planted the Cirque seed...) would have been so proud and would have approved completely of the 'newfound' music and interpretation of Cirque...Buy the CD - it flows superbly and ages well like a fine wine...And if you get the chance, go to Las Vegas and see the show...There are no bad seats and feel what this music can do to you...BTW...I was born in 1965 and BARELY remember the Beatles in their hayday (just glimpses as a child from the radio...), but can utterly appreciate what they have given to the world...Free Music Review: Forget the CD - Take the DVD and RUN!!!

With out a doubt, this has to be the best sounding album I have ever had the opportunity to experience. And that is the key word - experience. This is not an album you casually listen to - that would be all to passive. To get the true benefit of this album, you must emurse yourself in all it's 5.1 glory. For get the CD only - save it for the car. The DVD is the true gem here.
What George Martin and his son have done is take music that we all know by heart. Songs that span the entire six year odyssey are all represented, but then have been remastered to give them new clarity and vibrance that only one as intimate with the Beatles can give. This is a tremendous gift to the music loving public!
The first time I heard the DVD, I sat through all 81 minutes of it in shear awe - not only of the production value, but also the musicians and artists that created the raw material. There is no doubt in my mind that John, Paul, George, and, yes, even Ringo, created the best pop-rock quartet of all time. Their works are only enriched and improved upon by this project.
Do not miss any opportunity to listen to LOVE. Pay special attention to all the George Harrison works - the originals are polished, buffed, and then given a shine that will make you wish that Harrison was still writing music.
