Free Music Notes for LoveFree Music Review: nice try Hit: 4 StarsThe Beatles: Love. This is a good album that could have been a great album. Sir George Martin and company took a terrific idea as far as they could. They carefully avoided some cliches' and pitfalls and came up with a nice mix and a very listenable CD. I do have some problems with the backward version of Sun King, I just never saw (or heard) the point. Perhaps there was a secret message I missed? All in all however, well done!!!
Free Music Review: Awesome Hit: 5 StarsNow, I'm not a Die Hard Beatles fan. I knew several of their songs, but nothing ground breaking. But this album is amazing, it's made me go and listen to all their original stuff which is just as good. It's great for background music or blasting in your car on the way to work.
Free Music Review: Love: It's not all you need Hit: 3 StarsDon't get me wrong, I'm a Beatles fan, big time, but "Love" left me strangely deflated. I think it was unsettling for me to have the different songs blended and "transitioned" regardless of chronology in time. For a longtime fan who can remember the tracks in order on the original albums, "Love" left me feeling out of sync. To really appreciate the Beatles evolution, I think you need to listen to their music as it progressed through time. But for what "Love" is, music for a live show, I do think it is worth a listen.
Free Music Review: There are no words! Hit: 5 StarsI bought this cd after I watched the documetary on how the Martins put the work together. When I got it, I couldn't wait to get it into the cd player - I cried! It is amazing! There are no words for music that takes you back to the days long ago, where you can actually smell the breeze coming in the window as you sit by your record player playing your very first Beatles Album (yes Album!). Magical is all that comes to mind - Bravo!!!!!
Free Music Review: Perfection Hit: 5 StarsPerfection - I expected nothing less, and I was not at all disappointed. Amazing sound quality, fabulous tracks, and great new presentations of songs that needed no embellishment but wear it beautifully all the same.
