the Mirage was my primary motivation for visiting Vegas. There are always several Beatles tribute bands in Las Vegas at any given time but this is so much more. It is actually the Beatles. In a class by itself. Of course I made this cd my own as soon as it came out. But the performance absolutely explodes on you. Starting with a slower (it seemed) mix of Because. Then Ringo intros Get Back. No home systems can do it justice as dozens of performers descend on to the stage from the rafters high above. We had seats in the balcony & I think they were better than near the stage as trapeze artists flew within scant feet of us. The music seque wayed to that famous rooftop we all know. Strangly enough, it was being bombed in the blitz of World War II & Eleanor Rigby. Many bizarre happenings. But it's always about the music. The cd is fascinating with remixes & alternate takes. It is crisp & clean under George Martin's expert production. He above all seems to know them.
I was emotionally caught up (again) in my two personal favorites: George Harrison's Here Comes the Sun & John & Paul's masterwork Day in the Life. The music is not chronological nor are the versions the same as you may be use to. More the thrill. I know most can't go to Vegas to see the live performance but I can't recommend this cd enough. It is fab.

I'm a lifelong Beatles fan, and there is only one word for this disc...Incredible! The sound quality will just blow you away, it's like nothing you've ever heard. I'm hoping whoever put this together also does the remastering of the original 13 albums, because I will buy them all now, immediately, for whatever price they want.
And kudos to George Martin (THE 5th Beatle) for a great and current remix that anyone can enjoy. Man, I miss him.

Loved this cd.
I was worried that it would be a bunch of junk remixes.
But I was not dissapointed at all.
Even my father who passed down his love of the Beatles to me was impressed.
A must buy if you love the Beatles.

This was given to me as a gift. I believed it to be another hits collection. I found out that George Martin and son had fricked-up some of the greatest rock n roll music in the world. Why would anyone tamper with what was one of the greatest song writing teams and music groups that was the Beatles. If George Martin needs money I'll send him twenty bucks but please leave the classics alone.Free Music Review: Love/refund
