Free Music Notes for Magical Mystery TourFree Music Review: LOVE IT! Hit: 5 StarsNext to Sgt. Pepper, this is one of the best Beatles albums I've ever listened to. It's a fun and whimsical treat. Every song is just as catchy as the next, highlighting the most artistic, innovative, and experimental musical moments of their career. My favorite song of all was "I Am The Walrus." Brilliant album.
Free Music Review: I'm sorry this is beatles at there best Hit: 5 StarsI just love this album until I herd this Sgt peppers was the best but I donno know now I really like this album like every freekin song is great. Those two album represent a time before and it the band started to have major conflicts but after most of the 12 year old screaming girls sure bith those eras were good but this is when they were ther most focused and it shows.
Free Music Review: BORING Hit: 1 StarsThis CD is totally boring, even when "Penny Lane" comes along to "pick things up", 'cause by the time "Penny Lane" comes along, I'm already so down and out b/c of how boring the previous tracks are, "Penny Lane" just isn't much; I like music from all decades and the '60's is no exception. But what the heck is so great about this CD? Nothing.
Free Music Review: All you haters-SHUT UP! Hit: 4 StarsI'm sick of all of you ignorant people whose taste in music consists only music made in modern times. This is especially sad considering most modern music (with the exception of Nirvana, Sonic Youth, AFI and some Green Day) most modern music is very one-dimensional and tasteless compared to music of the past.
Now, to review this album:
Magical Mystery Tour: Nice but somewhat repetitive intro which is really nothing more than a motif to introduce the album and doesn't stand well on its own. 7/10
Fool on the Hill: One of Paul's best compositions ever. The tasteful, unobtrusive instrumentation complements the simple wisdom of the lyrics quite well. 10/10
Flying: An odd little instrumental but definitely worth listening to. 8/10
Blue Jay Way: Interesting, yet a little too preachy (though not as preachy as Within You Without You on Sgt. Pepper's). Also too monotonous (sp?). 6/10
Your mother Should Know: Cute, if a little trite in the lyric department. 8/10
I am the Walrus: For all you 12yr old idiots out there who hate this song because you can't "get it" and run crying to your moms in frustration and confusion, and call J. Lennon crazy, you should know that he wrote it to fool middle-class middle school ignoramuses like yourselves. I personally love the mad wordplay and freaky orchestration. 10/10
Hello, Goodbye: Okay, but once again a little mundane lyrically (not that that is always bad). Plus whenever I hear or read this song's name I instantly think of that nauseating techno-emo (or whatever it is) band. So its name is forever spoiled. 8/10
Strawberry Fields Forever: Very good introspective lyrics and surreal instrumentation. 10/10
Penny Lane: Very good bass line and storyline. 10/10
Baby you're a rich man: Interesting lyrics until you really think about them and realize they mean nothing. 7/10
All you need is love: A classic. 10/10
All in all, I give this album a B+.
Free Music Review: Way, way AWESOMEO!!!!!!!!! Hit: 5 StarsThis is such a great C.D. It has so many good songs like hello, goodbye, strawberry fields forever, penny lane, and others. The songs put on the C.D. as filler are great songs. In fact all the songs I mentioned above are filler. Good songs right? But it's not just the filler that's good. The other songs on the C.D. are good too. Like i am the walrus, yes I know I've got weird taste.
Well what I'm trying to say is: BUY THE C.D.!!!!!!!! It's great! =D
