It's hard to say which Beatles album is the best, but I'd put Magical Mystery tour up there with Sgt. Pepper's, Abbey Road, Revolver and Rubber Soul.
Almost every song is one of your favorites.

I can see how this record was a little overlooked when it was realesed late 1967 not long after the massive Sgt Pepper album. The Magical Mystery Tour album unlike the terrible film of the same name is a brilliant album that has some the groups greatest ever tracks.
I am the Walrus is one of best songs John Lennon wrote, I think this song along with Strawberry Fields Forever have some of the most creative perhaps original lyrics ever written in Pop music.
Blue Jay way is a great George Harrison song that tends to be overlooked, Hello Goodbye, Fool on the Hill and Penny lane are great McCartney works.
The best song on here in my opinion is All you need is love which is a brillant uplifting song with a possitive feel to it.
Although I wouldn't this album isn't quite in the same league as Sgt Pepper, The White album or Abbey Road ( Which are the best Beatles albums) this is still a great record that will serve well as a starting point for anyone interested in the Beates latter work.

I first bought this when it was released as an E.P. just before the ill-fated television broadcast in Britain. I remember that it was 'especially priced' at one pound sterling by Parlophone at the insistance of Brian Epstein so that it was affordable to those that were wanting to purchase it. The additional tunes are an asset and round out the album. Sadly, the price has balloned over the years.
