This British version of REVOLVER is definitive.
"I'm Only Sleeping," "And Your Bird Can Sing" and "Doctor Robert" were removed from the American release, so that the "Yesterday And Today" collection could grab a few million extra bucks from fans. Corporate greed's last triumph over artistic domain.
Just as ABBEY ROAD belonged to Paul, REVOLVER is John Lennon's greatest Beatles record. It is a nearly flawless album-- superlative, supreme, super. REVOLVER belongs in every rock music lover's collection.

I've been an enormous Beatles fan my entire life. I can remember in the fifth grade when my mom bought the red greatest hits double album. Since hearing that album I have been not only an avid Beatles fan but a fan of great music. When I was younger I preferred albums like Magical Mystery Tour, Help, and Please Please Me, but nowadays I've come to fully appreciate their later albums.
I always viewed Rubber Soul and Revolver as the transitional albums for the Beatles and so I never paid much attention to them. In recent years I've grown to like them for the good songs they produced but overall the albums lacked cohesion and they featured some of the worst songs in the Beatles catalogue. "Dr. Robert" is proof that John Lennon was infallible. Revolver and Rubber Soul are overrated. Buy the White Album or Abbey Road if you want the Beatles at their best, the former being the epitome of their career.

i personally believe that this is the best album of the beatles...yes it is arguable that rubber soul or white are equal or greater but i will stick with it that revolver is the best...white would be #2, then let it be, help, hard days night, rubber soul, etc...
