Free Music Review: YOU HAVEN'T HEARD IT UNTIL YOU'VE HEARD THE MONO MIX
Hit: 5 Stars

It's been said that you haven't heard Sgt.Pepper until you've heard the MONO mix. The MONO version is a completely different mix than the stereo. You will hear things on the MONO mix that don't appear on the stereo. For instance, The crowd noise on the opening track and the reprise are completely different. She's Leaving Home is in a different key. There's laughing at the end of Within Without You. Good Morning Good Morning has a many more animal sounds. That's just to name a few. It's a different listening experience. The MONO White album has many of the same differences. The Fab 4 took a greater interest in the MONO mixes. They participated in the mixing. They usually left the stereo mixes to the engineers.

Free Music Review: The Greatest Album Of All Time?
Hit: 5 Stars

Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is truly a masterpiece, a seminal piece of work that, after forty-three years, has lost none of its magic. As a native of Liverpool, England, I can honestly say that the only way this album could have been improved upon was if a revamped version of the majestic Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields (both of which capture with amazing accuracy the vibe of these places in Liverpool, and that only true Scousers, as the Beatles were, could articulate) had been included. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band illustrates succinctly the geniuses and visionaries the Beatles were. Definitely the greatest album of all time.

Free Music Review: Freshly Remastered and Miraculous
Hit: 5 Stars

Without debating the merits of the original music, the remastering on this CD is nothing short of phenomenal. No, it is not an exact recreation of the original, compressed 4 track recording on vinyl. That muddy warm sound was state of the art for its day, but that day is over. This newly remastered CD sounds so fresh, so cutting edge, that it unchains the original LP and makes it relevant again. Sgt. Pepper has been called the greatest rock album of all time. Now 21st century fans will be able to judge for themselves. It's still one of the baddest kids on the block, the rocket launcher for all modern rock.

Free Music Review: It's like you've never Sgt. Pepper's before
Hit: 5 Stars

WOW!!! I just recieved my first order of the remastered cds today. As I said, it's like hearing these albums for the very first time. And what a sound it is !!! The voices pop out at you, and the instrumentation is clear, crisp and complex in its' simplicity. It becomes evident just how much of a range John and Paul's voice have. For the first time I heard Paul's technique and mastery of the bass; I finally hear how integral and necessary Ringo's drums are. I can't wait to hear the other cd's I recieved and order the remaining ones I need to replace my older editions.
