These are all songs that made #1, and they have all been remastered. Just load them into your jukebox or IPod and let it be ... Now if you want the "raw" recordings without the "5th" Beatle (Paul Simon referred to Phil Spector as The Resurrector), you'll need to buy the "Naked" recordings.Free Music Review: Bealtes is smooth music.

I think 'Hey Jude' is one of the finest songs ever made by the Beatles. The Beatles are a nice rock band with talented singers like McCartney and Lennon who make decent music. I was going to school listening to the Beatles and man, didn't my day work out better? Beatles is mellow music.

If your a big beatles fan and have most of there albums I wouldn't suggest that you buy this C.D. however if you have little or no beatles recordings this is good place to start it has most of the songs you'd want as a casual listner and it's a good sampling of Beatles music that you can decide what albums you would like to buy later withFree Music Review: FOR THE UNINITIATED ONLY!

The release is totally unneccessary if you already own everything by the Beatles, or even if you just own the two double sets 1962-1966 and 1967-1970. It offers nothing new.
So why the five stars? Because, of course, the material it offers is excellent. This album is a new version of an early 1980s release called TWENTY GREATEST HITS which was a compilation of the singles that had hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. This CD throws in the British number ones as well.
If you're looking for a quick introduction to the Beatles, this is it. If you want a little more, skip it and get the two double sets.
