Free Music Review: Great songs, but I would get the seprate albums....

The good thing about this album is it has wonderful, wonderful songs. The problem is some are still missing. It simply does not work to make a Beatles collection.Why? BECAUSE THEY ARE NO(or very, very few)BAD BEATLES SONGS!None the less this is a great album, but I would recommend buying the seprate Beatles album.That way you wont miss out on any great songs.

My dad was a huge Beatles fan, and I've grown up listening to them. I DEFINITELY do not regret having bought this CD!
This two-disc set combines the best Beatles songs from the period when they were at their best musically. Classics (and my favorites!) like "Hey Jude," "Strawberry Fields Forever," "A Day in the Life," and "All You Need is Love" are all here, and, after listening to this CD, I've even found new favorites, like "Across the Universe" and "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da."
These CDs will appeal to everyone, and I mean EVERYONE. Old fans and new alike will be subjected to the best the Beatles have to offer. If you DON'T like the Beatles, I guarantee that after listening to these CDs, YOU WILL!! They remind us why the best-selling band in history is a musical force to be reckoned with.

I'm only 12 and I must say that I have been listening to the Beatles everyday since I was 3. Also, I think it's incredible how they put all these incredible classics in to one CD.To end this review, I must say that the Beatles are te epitomy of rock n' roll and statted it all. I love the Bealtes and very greatful for their positive music that change the world forever~

This is a seminal Beatles compilation and here's why:
a) The cover photograph - This album shows how far the Beatles had come. Yes, they looked like hippies, but they also were at their peak musically and showed that they weren't afraid to change.
b) Revolution - if you want the catchy fast upbeat version of Revolution, you gotta get it here.
c) John Lennon: Lennon's tracks (though they're written as Lennon-McCartney) show a unique genius in full motion
d) George Harrison: great tracks on CD 2
Nearly 40 years on, this album is still in reissue and no wonder. If 1962-1966 was the pop appetizer, 1967 - 1970 is the Beatles in full force. This amazing body of work was created in just 3 years! This is probably the best Beatles sampler.
This collection is worth getting if you don't want to plod through the Beatles White Album and Let it Be (but it's not meant to replace Sgt Pepper's or Abbey Road).
