I have to say that I really enjoyed the simplicity of the movie and the music. There was just some kinda quality in Hard Candy Christmas that just hits home. I am a fan of musical of various types, but this one is one of my all time favorites, (even though I am no fan of Burt Reynolds). I won't let that interfere with my enjoyment of Miss Dolly and the rest of the cast. In fact, I guess I have to admit that ole Burty Boy did fit the part well also.Free Music Review: Bad movie

The movie is a bad one - not worth seeing. In some ways the soundtrack is even worse as it merely reminds us of the trend downward Dolly Parton's career began to take in the late 70's when she turned her back on her country roots in favor of light insubstantial Hollywood pop. Of late, she has shown signs of rebounding with her country roots. Forget this pap and stick with her more traditional material.Free Music Review: FANTASTIC

Dolly Parton is one of my favorite artists. When I was little I saw the Movie The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and ever since then I have loved the song Hard Candy Christmas. I searched for years to find the CD and a friend finally found it for me. I was so excited that I cried. I highly recommend the track and especially Hard Candy Cristmas!
