Free Music Review: great, eclectic compilation series

This is an enjoyable series that should appeal to jam band/eclectic music fans. The difference between the different volumes is determined by your particular tastes. Many of these songs are not throw-a-ways but rather high quality recordings.
On this volume, Counting Crows "Mr. Jones" is fantastic. It is more stripped down and raw than the studio version.
The Bela Fleck song is a great jam where master bassist Victor Wooten unleashes some monster riffs.
The Cowboy Junkies' song and Violent Femmes' "American Music" are also highlights.
The beauty of this series is being turned on to groups that you never heard before.
