Years ago, when The Big Blue movie was released, many of my friends failed to grasp its message -they thought it to be but the story of the friendship/rivalry between two divers.
But what not even one failed to get was the beauty of the music... I even recall one saying how listening to the soundtrack with his eyes closed evoked "blue" sensations!

This is the soundtrack for the french version of the movie that we all love. The music is different, but supposedly, the cast and basic plot are the same in "Le grand bleu". If anyone has access to the french version of the movie, or the english version of the soundtrack (which I have heard does exist), PLEASE e-mail me. This CD is one of the best pieces of film music I have ever heard. It is also one of the best meditative music CD. Some of the songs can plunge you into the blue depths of the Mediteran sea. A must-have for anyone who likes sea and/or meditative music, although some of the songs do have different tone.Free Music Review: A sensory deluge

I am a big fan of heavy music. However, sometimes I'm in the mood for something "soft". This CD is by far the best relaxing music that I have ever heard in my life. It really transports you to other worlds. BUY IT!!!
