When I first saw the movie and heard the music I fell in love with the songs. But when I went here to see the track listing I noticed my favorite songs were missing. For example "Tumbling Tumbleweeds"-the title song isnt on here? As well as Santana's "Oye Como Va" and CCR's songs. What happened here too many legal isssues? I would have given it 2 more stars at least if "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" was on here.Too bad.Free Music Review: Where is the CCR

Loved the movie, like the soundtrack. The soundtrack would have been one of the best if only the CCR had made it on. One of the most hilarious moments in the entire movie is when "Lookin out my back door" is playing and the "Dude" wrecks his car into the dumpster. While whats on the soundtrack is good stuff, I would definitely welcome a Volume 2 with all the great music that was left out.Free Music Review: Worth it just for The Gypsy Kings

as others have pointed out, this album is not true to the movie since it does not include the Credence tracks, but it is worth buying just for the Gypsy Kings cover of Hotel California. I listened to it on a visit to LA last week as I drove down Florence Avenue near Pacific looking for Tommy's Burgers. Double chili Cheese, please!Free Music Review: What about the creenence?

I just wonder who mixed this CD. The dude was better off losing the briefcase and getting the Creedence tapes back. Aside from that where are the "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" and the Eagles? Love this album although it falls short on some of the movies best songs. There's not even any Credence!! The good news is that you can purchase basically all of the other songs as mp3's on Amazon and other sites, and then construct the actual official soundtrack.
