Free Music Notes for WarpaintFree Music Review: Not since Amorica.... Hit: 4 Stars
...have the Crowes sound so tight and fresh. The songwriting, variety and quality of this album match the best the of Brother's Robinson. There is a feeling of loss, redemption and inspiration that transcends throughout. Move On Down the Line is up there with My Morning Song, Wiser Time or Salvation... I just saw them play this album live and it was simply phenomenal.
Free Music Review: Good Songs, Only Live Will Tell Hit: 4 Stars
Gonna make this short and sweet:
The album is completely listenable. It doesnt feature quite as much hooky-riffy madness as their other albums though there is some of that. I am a big live music fan, especially when it comes to these guys. I will be going to see them on the road soon and thats how I'll be judging this material.
Free Music Review: The Crowes are back! Hit: 4 Stars
Well, it is about time! The Black Crowes have had many personnel changes since their last album, but the songwriting remains great, and the band sounds very tight. I've seen the Crowes live about 10 times, and probably 4 times since their last album, and I am glad to report that they are just as great live as they are on the CD.
Free Music Review: The best album since Amorica Hit: 4 Stars

The album is very good conceived and I thinks the fans must buy.
Free Music Review: Crowes Still Rock Hit: 4 Stars
Good new record by the Crowes. It sounds like they're comfortable with both the new material and the new line-up. Kind of an alt.country/Humble Pie vibe. Even though I was bummed by Marc Ford leaving again, (that line up just kills), I hope they continue on this new path. Buy the record.
