7 years later the " most rock & roll, rock & roll " band the Black Crowes give us WARPAINT. this Disc has it all, Rock, Blues, Country & some Cycadellica. For any Crowes fan this is there best effort to date, music wise. For new fans great place to start, but could be hard to work their catalog of music back to front.Free Music Review: Couldn't be more Perfect!

Blues, funkadelic, soul, pure rock-n-roll - this CD is a perfect mix of every genre that makes up the Black Crowes' sound. I absolutely love it, and luckily enough, got to hear it live in its entirety at the Starland before it was even released. Warpaint is easily The Black Crowes best effort since Amorica, and stands up with Amorica, Southern Harmony and their debut as some of their best music, whic is saying a lot. If you like the Black Crowes, buy it. If you like rock and roll, buy it. And listen to it about 5 times until it really kicks in.
