Free Music Notes for Rubber FactoryFree Music Review: I can't stop listening to this Hit: 4 StarsI learned about The Black Keys 6 months ago and started with their debut album and bought everything except their latest to date. If I was going to recommend an album to start with, it would be Rubber Factory. I am a big fan of the White Stripes, and hearing these guys played as a two piece intrigued me. They have surpassed my expectations.
The music is raw blues, with some rocking riffing tunes stuck in. This CD has been on heavy rotation in my house and truck ever since. Thickfreakness is also very solid, I can't get "Midnight in Her Eyes" out of my head - but that's ok.
Free Music Review: Amazing CD Hit: 5 StarsIf you like music that is heavily blues influenced, you will love this cd. Great simple music that is much like the white stripes, but so exciting and envigorating because of its heavy blues roots.
Free Music Review: Another Winner Hit: 5 StarsThe Black Keys continue to amaze me, the only way they could be any better (for me) is if I were in the band :) This one has a few more softer tracks than their previous albums.
Free Music Review: good beat , easy to exercise to Hit: 4 StarsListen to the Black Keys to energize yourself for exercise. I come from Youngstown, OH and this is the kind of music that reflects the Rock and Roll soul of Northeastern Ohio.GO BUCKS
Free Music Review: The Black Keys do it again Hit: 5 StarsThis is absolutely one of the best albums I've ever heard in my life. If you enjoy blues or rock you owe it to yourself to get this album. The first time I heard The Black Keys my musical world was changed forever and I don't know how I listened to music before them. In my opinion this is their best album and definitely worth the purchase. My favorite song on the CD is 10 AM Automatic - a fantastic rocker that really emphasizes what these guys are all about. When the Lights Go Out, Just Couldn't Tie Me Down, and All Hands Against His Own are fantastic tracks. Girl Is On My Mind and Stack Shot Billy are two really funky tracks that just make you want to groove. In conclusion, The Black Keys deserve much more recognition for making such great music and everyone should own this album.
