I thought this was a funky album with funny, fast lyrics. I got a kick out listening to it.
How someone can make being egotistical and sociologically depraved sound amusing is beyond my limit of understanding.
I if you want to hear some twisted music and original lyrics then check it out.

Want to talk downright outragous? Then the Bloodhound Gang's "Hooray For Boobies" Is the cd for you. The music world was overtaken by a barrage of sleaze, sick humour and bad jokes when this album hit the stores. The New-Jersey hating Five-some present us with a real mix of "Educational issues" (honestly) that would make even Eminem jump with surprise!!!Back in the day, The Bloodhound Gang were a bunch of weirdos that produced really bad, cheesy music, but somehting was appealing about it. Basicallly it was the lyrical content, poking fun at people from all walks of life. We laughed and didn't spare a minute to feel sorry for the groups that were targeted- shame on us!!
But this 3rd album sees the cheesy music replaced with a cd full of masterpieces with each song having its own distinct sound and style, from the heavy rock of "Yummy Down On This" to the cheesy 80's pop of "The Bad Touch". The group even try their hand with rap with "Mope": A song compised of a remixing of Franki Goes to hollywood and lyrics poking fun At Pavirotti and Tori Spellings's eyes. Figure that one out! Each song will stick in your head as they are all different in some way and have their own attributes, but you'll probably remember each song for some sleazy or shocking bit of lyrics!!
My favourite songs on this album have to be "The Ballad Of Cjasey Lain" This was released as a single and most of it was dubbed out in the video as Chasey Lain is a porn star so you probably guess why it was dubbed so heavily! "Magna Cum Nada" Is a good song, it's a bit darker than the rest of them and the rock is a bit harder too. "Three point one four" Is the most shocking on the album, but if I were to write why, this review wouldn't be allowed to be put up so I'll let you discover this one for yourself.
As a last word, just buy this, I think it's essential, and an all round good laugh (unless you're a really serious person with no sense of humour!!)

I got this CD from a friend, I guess the name of the CD sort of caught my eye :) and I had seen the Bad Touch video on MTV, and I thought it was pretty funny. I got this expected stupid music with pretty much no musical talent. Actually, these guys are decent at their instruments and the lyrics are pretty crafty. If you have s sense of humor or if you are into comedic music you should buy this CD. It's nothing groundbreaking and it shouldn't be taken seriously by any man, woman, or child, but it's worth your time to listen to. The music on this CD would probably fit into a rap-metal sort of category overall, even though the guitars are pretty light. The only really downer on this CD is "Down on This" because it's really just a bad attempt to be funny. My favorite songs are "I Hope You Die", "The Inevitable Return of the Great White Dope", "3.14", and "Bad Touch."Free Music Review: The best US band of the moment by far...

This album goes to prove that Jimmy Pop and his gang know two things: 1. What a sense of humour is. 2. What great music is.'Hooray for Boobies' is as good as the classic 'Fierce Beer Coaster' album and puts the likes of Blink 182 and Limp Bizkit firmly in the shade for the quality of both music and lyrical content.
The only guy who comes close to Jimmy Pop's lyrical genius is, of course, Eminem. But unlike Eminem, the Bloodhound Gang don't make music which tries hard to offend - they just make funny, 'risque' songs which any given audience should enjoy, wether they are straight, gay, black, white, British, Euro, American, whatever...
If you want an album which doesn't take itself too serious and has a great set of songs to make you sing/dance/laugh/chill/etc, you can't go wrong with 'Hooray for Boobies' or, indeed, any of the other other Bloodhound Gang releases.
Overall then: A great harmless, load of fun! ('The Bad Touch' is THE stand-out track on an album full of top tunes...)

This is a good cd, and every song is different - if anyone could find a better band with more diversity than the bloodhound gang then step up and prove it. This cd has everything from metal, punk, rap and a few dashes of the old turntables. This in my view isn't the best of their collection - next to one fierce beer coaster, but is the same league as use your fingers. But it's very varied and it would be a enourmous struggle to not like at least one of the tunes on this masterpeice!!
Ive seen em live and they were easily one of the most enteertaining spectacles ive ever seen....not to mention easily as heavy (live) as the so called 'greats' korn, and limp bizkit etc etc -this band needs more recognition, so trust me buy this and u wont be dissapointed!!!!
